This is an interior design project for the Gangbyeon Hyundai Prime Apartment in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
The goal was to move away from the standard apartment layout and propose a design that fits the client’s furniture preferences and single-person lifestyle.
The kitchen and living room, which were originally separated, were connected with a custom furniture piece to create a more open and flexible space. This allows the client to enjoy cooking, host guests, or spend time reading in a comfortable setting.I coordinated the colors and materials to match the client’s existing mid-century modern furniture from brands like Artek and Vitra. Geometric tiles and wallpapers were used throughout the space to add a graphic touch and present the home as a cohesive and well-branded living environment.
